The iron, the glass, the astounding constructions, all these electrified and astounded me, ultimately bringing about a steady outpour of creativity. New York was an experience which repeated itself countless times, with the astonishment and veneration augmented each and every time. The visits to the city had a cardinal affect on me and significantly transformed my approach to painting, color, composition and the way I look at and probe the creations of the globe. My paintings turned more and more colorful and daring. At the same time I also began painting urban sceneries here in Israel, which have taken on different characteristics from the New York paintings.
